The Quantcast Choice CMP was sold to InMobi in 2023, and is now InMobi Choice CMP.

Quantcast is committed to leading the industry’s transition to the latest privacy standards developed by IAB Europe. With only a couple of days left to switch over to TCF v2.0, IAB Europe’s August 15, 2020 deadline is just around the corner.

We’re excited to announce that in advance of the upcoming deadline, Quantcast has updated the Choice WordPress plugin to allow publishers and marketers to join the Quantcast Choice community of 25,000 website owners across 25 countries, and be ready for TCF v2.0 today.

Launched in March 2018, the WordPress plugin allows users to easily implement Quantcast Choice on a website, so they have full access to all configuration options available. To implement the plugin, users simply need to create an account on Quantcast.com, add their website, configure the CMP options and add their Universal Tag ID to the plugin interface. From start to finish, set up can take as little as fifteen minutes.

Quantcast Choice not only covers a Consent Management Platform’s (CMP) core functionalities to support consumer privacy preferences under GDPR, ePrivacy Directive and CCPA, but it also provides advanced features that simplify your consent and privacy preference management, including:

  • A centralized portal to manage all domains: set-up, customizations, etc.
  • A universal tag for single deployment: set up once and stay up to date with minimum coding
  • IAB and non-IAB vendor management capabilities
  • Consent metrics that reflect consumer interactions with the CMP
  • Preset settings to simplify implementation and optimize consent rate
  • Real-time Quantcast Measure audience insights based on consented data

In addition to the above CMP features, Quantcast Choice for WordPress offers the option for users to automatically push consent signals to the data layer, which permits signals to be read by third party tools including Google Tag Manager to allow or block signals for custom non-IAB vendors like Facebook or Twitter.

Publishers and marketers can also automatically add a Quantcast Choice CCPA “Do Not Sell My Data” button and popup to their WordPress website using the plugin. This allows users to maintain a persistent and easily accessible link on their website at all times, which gives  consumers the ability to edit their consent preferences.

Adopting the IAB Europe’s TCF v2.0 is critical for publishers and marketers to protect and grow their revenue, as it conveys the consent signals that support digital advertising. Quantcast Choice’s expanded functionalities facilitate the TCF v2.0 transition by providing consumers significantly greater transparency about how their data or consent can be used, and visibility into websites’s data collection partners.
